I have a 99cc Predator with a 19mm slide carb and intake setup that worked very well on a motorized bicycle (when it was on the bicycle, it went like hell, but brakes were a big issue). I want to put it on a yard-type dead axle fun kart. I want to use the weenie pipe shown on the far left of the picture. The pipe in the middle was the one I used on the bicycle. The big one on the far right is for a 212 Predator. Is there any real noticeable difference in power between pipe#1 and pipe #2 ? Pipe #1 is 3/4" O.D. Pipe #2 is 1" O.D. with no muffler. I like the looks of the weenie pipe-and it makes it easier to fit in my car. Plus, the muffler makes it more parking lot-friendly.
Any opinions?
