Anybody know what this spring is for?

Took the goat out for a spin today, noticed this spring when I was washing it. Anybody know what it's for -or even more importantly, should I care?

Pretty sure that's was your return spring. Where is your throttle cable hookup?

Everything works good, seems to anyway. It was a bit unresponsive at first then a figured out I had the choke on :laugh:

I do that all the time. Specially after a couple :drinkup::facepalm:

Its looped through the solid cable hole. Like lawnmower throttles. It might of been used as a throttle return or just to keep the gov. arm from flopping around.

That is the kick stand spring. It holds the kick stand up while your riding. The little spring in the background is probably your throttle return spring.
