I am looking at a nice Honda 350x 3 wheeler. I want to convert it to a 2 wheeler.

I know someone on here did it. But I can't find it. I know in the late 90s there was a kit to do it. But now I figure ill have to do it myself.

kit is still available but pricey. have the info at home but will try to look it up in a few. a few of the ATC's were shaft drive, i didn't know it at the time when i bought mine, so there isn't anything you can do with those.
originally called the Missile kit,

Hey Toomany , cool projects I built one a few years back called it a Honda Hippo
I started with a Honda 185 and cut the rear end off it fabbed up a swingarm out of some 1x2 tubing and used a set of big red front forks
Had to put a jackshaft on it to get the chain to line up with the wide rear wheel
It worked pretty good , but was a bit of a beast to wrestle around lol
Here is a picture of it before I sold it.

Too bad you are not close to me, I have a ATC 125m. I also have a Yamaha YTM 200, that I want to do the same with. I was going to use a swingarm off a old KE175 cut down and welded to a front set of lower forks for a ATC110. Or maybe do it with a chopper hardtail kit.

I love the shape of the frame on the Yamaha, it is quite unique.

The key to building one is to find a front wheel to use on the back
That way you have a hub bearings and brake to start with then all you need is a custom sprocket adapter
I made mine with a couple of huge washers or plates drilled one to match the rim and the other to the sprocket
Then used a piece of pipe that fit over the hub to join them together
Make sure to take lots of pictures and keep us posted

there are good front hubs that will work, from Honda ATC 125's and so on on ebay all the time. My ATC 125 has a break that can be converted to put a sprocket on. So I may rob it and the forks as the swing arm, I have a spare set of ATC 110 forks to put on it without front brake.

If I had a fat cat I would not be beating it around the woods. I sold my rzr and I want something to just cruise around on and relax. I am more of an old school big tire mini guy but I broke the frame twice on my super bronc trying to push it too far and there isn't enough suspension on it

If I had a.nice drawing of the rear swing arm I could get my buddy to build one up.
