Baja Warrior Mods

#1
I've recently acquired a Baja Warrior, and the lack of speed is very apparent when it is stock. I am considering buying a torque converter or possibly an air filter first, but would y'all recommend buying a predator engine seeing as they're on sale for $99 right now? I'm not quite sure if buying that engine would help the speed as much as a torque converter so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

the possible replacement engine would be a 212cc from harbor freight, but I'm thinking right now that the TAV would be the best bet

He was asking if the engine already on it was 160 or 198cc... The 198cc is pretty much the same as the Harbor Freight. You wont notice much of a difference. Except for the fact that the Harbor Freight motor doesn't have a lighting coil so your headlight wont work. Start with the Torque converter. It will fit on the stock engine whether it is a 5,5hp or a 6.5hp (160 or 198cc)..
