Barn finds

Went crawling through a barn today. Any idea what these might be? I really like the skull. :smile:

Red one is a Bird manufacturing bike...could be a couple names. Second is a Doodlebug by Baja
And I will buy the red gas tank.

Though the red one looks more the a Bird/Sears Drover...but like I said..many names to that one.

He said the yellow one came from Tractor Supply. Located in the Grand Rapids, MI. area. I don't own these. Yet.......

Yep..Tractor Supply...Pep Boys..many places sold them..even Kmart. Don't know the price on them..but they all seem clean.

Yep, I see it now. Thought it was a terra cat type bike.
Why are the flat top (older?) DoodleBugs more desireable than the new ones?

The older ones are slightly bigger...the forks are better and bent forward instead of back in your lap. And more motors fit on them easier than the new ones.

Ok, just made the deal. Picking up all 3 tomorrow evening, plus what looks like a severely welded up BC1100 frame and wheels. Neighbor has first dibs on the yellow one.

Got them home, let me know what I have. This yellow one is spoken for.

Blue one, real clost to the yellow one. It used to be yellow. Interesting motors, not much power. Any idea what they might be?

Please do not sell the tank to Cheesy. He is a hoarder. Please sell it to me instead. Although I would pay you less, I am a really, really nice guy and you would feel warm and fuzzy inside knowing that you sold it to me.
