Bent motor mounting plate

Very dumb question, but how would you bend this plate back into shape? I am wanting to order an adjustable mounting plate and want it to sit flush.

Get a new frame or cut it out install new plate :grind:

Like Cheezy said, BFH and a block of wood then gusset it with a round bar between the slots underneath and or off to each side and it will never bend again. I've fixed a DB that was run into by a truck (parked in the garage) and the bumper caught the stock engine fuel tank and tweaked the plate. I bought it like that from the guy who ran it over, he was replacing the trim around the garage door when I got there.:doah:

Welded 1/8 inch plate underneath mine so my mounting plate is 1/4 inch thick

i would hammer it back out and weld some angle iron on the sides underneth
