building a sidecar for a mini

Does anyone have any plans or picture that I may look at. I have an idea to build a side car for my mini so I could take my girls for a ride. Just looking for a winter project. Any ideas or picture would be helpful. Thanks

i made this for my 1 year old, she is now 2 and still loves it! The side car pivots and is bolted to the footpeg mount and the rear footpeg hole. I made it out of a old wheelbarrel.

it would be fun to make a side car that contained the engine hidden and you could mount some crazy contraption where the engine was supose to go

Really nice. But some questions come to mind:
How do you start that 45? The kick is on the side next to the body.
Same prob. with ignition timer. How do you get back in there?
The carb would also be hard to get to. But I should stop picking on it. That is a really nice piece of craftmanship.
