Carlisle snow hog tires

Hey everyone, well I'm looking for some new tires. Something in the 145/70-6 or larger range. This is a 95% off road mini, gravel, rock and dirt. 7.5HP and 9-1 gearing chews tires up pretty good :thumbsup:

I was thinking of the Snow Hog's, just wondering how they hold up and if they bite as good as they look. I also found what looks to be the lowest prices on the net, summit racing has bunches of Carlisle tires. They also have a flat $9.95 shipping Carlisle Tire & Wheel, Tires - summitracing.com

kbs8ball has a set of 8inch tires on his bike and has good luck with them off-road. X tread tires

I have a set of 6" on the front of a kart and they bite on any surface I've tried them on. I don't know how they last, but the really dig in.

Thanks for the info, I just found another set that looks promising. They are calling the 145/70-6 tire 16.5" tall??? If so it looks like you could pick up another inch of ground clearance :thumbsup: Carlisle Tire & Wheel 5370441 - Carlisle Trail Wolf Tires

My tires are called "ground pounders ll" I got em off ebay...they were listed as shredders...there 4.80 X 8 and 16.5 tall.
