Had a nice catfish trip earlier this week. The jug lines are proving effective:

Could you show us what your use to cook the fish ? and include a smell LOL
In 1976 I went to see my brother in law in the boot heal of Missouri and he got cat fish from a local fish farm. He used an old propane gas water heater and had a pot that fit onto the area above the burner. That was his deep fryer and we had fish and corn fritters. Those fish were sure deserving of the PIG title.

Thanks, guys. Jim, I fish for food. This is what I'll eat this week. I don't buy meat.

As for cooking I cook all my fish the same way: blackened otherwise known as pan frying. I don't cook bluegill anymore. I use them for bait. White bass, black bass and catfish, I fillet and pan fry as such:
