Chainsaw Clutch removal

#1
Anyone have experiance getting a chainsaw clutch off? I'm trying to get the clutch off of a chainsaw that has hardly any room around it to put a gear puller's arms around it. It's sunken into the frame of the chainsaw frame. Whats worse is in order to get the motor out of the chainsaw frame, there are bolts behind the clutch that I have to remove. So I need the clutch off first. And I'm all like "huh?"

Why must they do this to me.

If it is threaded, I would guess it goes in the same direction as the engine rotation, so it doesn't come off during operation
Yeah that would make sense. Heres my chainsaw. There are no set screws for the shaft but I see a key so I dont think it will screw off.

Damn fine lookin motor. Will be perfect for my Build Off bike if I can get it going.
