Champion rocker install ????

When installing these rockers do they need spacers under the pedestal ? After doing searches on here seem like some put washers under the pedestal . Is this needed ?

Whatever it takes to get your geometry right....I cut my stock guide plate in half and used that as a spacer under mine ...

can you tell me how to tell how to check the geometry so i can tell what to do .

you basically want the center of the rocker arm tip to stay in the center of the valve stem/lash cap throughout its range of travel

you will know when you try to set valve lash. you will run out of rocker tip. if the rocker tip spins so far into arm that you hit valve with the arm instead of tip. If you have a milled head you may need to shim.
