Clone 11hp jetting help

My friend and I both have GX340 clones in our minibikes and would like some jetting help. We both will be removing the governor, adding mild upgrade valve springs, and headers. Any idea where we should start for our jetting?

I'm hoping to buy some jet drills and drill the stock jet for now FYI.

start at .0402 or get a adjustable jet for it.

I was thinking about an adjustable jet, but I'd rather spend the money on an aftermarket carb.

So I could drill my current jet to .040" for the same result as buying a .0402 jet correct?

What about the idle jet, can those be drilled?

They can be on the GX160/200 and I believe .018-.022 is recomended on those smaller engines, I think mine is .020.

.040 is a good start,run it hard and take a plug reading.

I can't be any help on drilling the primary,I broke every bit I had trying that! :scared:
