Dellorto is leaking gas when it is not running

I have a 1969 Rupp Rodster with a H50 and a UB22a Dellorto carb. When the bike is not running it has gas dripping out of the velocity stack. What can I do to fix this problem?

Sounds like the float or float valve is stuck open. It will over flow out of the carb if that happens.

Is there an ajustment for the float?

Most needle valves are sitting on a small metal shelf. I'd check to see:
1. It's missing
2. Gunked up and stuck open( very common )
3. The metal shelf is bent causing the valve to stay open
4. Float has a leak and is flooded with gas and needs to be replaced.( sinks in bowl.)
