Diaphragm or conventional bowl carb?

I don't have a lot to do with the diaphragm carb but, the only advantage is it can work on any angle.

After working with my first diaphragm carb, give me a float carb any day when it comes to TEC engines.

Just my opinion.

Diaphragm carbs also have the ability to draw their own fuel from a source, providing it's equipped with a crankcase pulse fuel pump chamber.

They also might operate better then a float carb in really rough bounce around type conditions.

All of the Tec diaphragm carbs that I've come across have a small venturi and some even don't have an idle circuit built in to them.

One of these carbs would be good for a factory angle engine mount mini bike that would require the ultra hard to find HS40/HS50 slant intake manifold.
