doodle sprocket adapter question

#1
I have been using a random set of screws and nuts to hold the sprocket onto the adapter, but after riding around for 1 month the nuts became loose and flew off, Was wondering what kind of hardware should be used to secure the adapter plate and sprocket.... thxs!

Hello iatemeself,

Nothing special, just check from time to time make sure tight. Seems like I am using 1/4 bolts and serrated flanged nuts to lock to the sprocket. Can use nyloc nuts too. Still should check to make sure tight after doing a lot of riding.

I am used to checking stuff from kart racing. Pretty much anything will come loose and fall off, so have to check, double check or will lose something.

I like serrated flanged nuts better, easier to work with, but nyloc works well too.
