Front end conversion

After seeing a video of that 90 mph gx200 clone'd minibike w/ the streetbike type bars on it, I really want to hunt down the front end of one of those pocketbikes (the big ones though) and try to make it work on my Doodle.

Anybody else seen this done?

I had put the front forks off a pocket dirt bike on my DB30 as an experiment.The shocks and front brakes were a nice touch,but they seemed to flex latterally a bit too much for my comfort.Obviously not designed for the weight of a DB30 with a 5.5 clone,but worth the try.
