gc160 fuel pump question

well rather a lack of a fuel pump....
now this may seem like a dumb question so be gentle lol, but i took off the factory fuel tank and fuel pump and im going with a fuel tank mounted above the motor.... so my question is ....i wont need the fuel pump at all right?

as long as the bottom of the new tank is above the carb you will be fine while you are using a stock carb. If you change the carb a walbro fuel pump is recommended.
