maybe not a true gain per say, but the reason for changing it is to get rid of the flat spot that u get when u jet a bike. usually u would put a air filter, jets, imultion tube, and a header and see a good gain. The next step is to remove the govenor and add better valve springs, and replace the exhaust keeper and put on a lash cap, this will be the biggest gain for no internal mods. Oh, and advance the timing with a advanced keyway but changing the flywheel is important cuz they explode when u start to rev them up. Its the best $100 bucks u will spend.
