gx160 bore and Misc. questions

I'm wanting to get the honda flat top piston with the +.75mm bore and was wondering if it will make that much of a difference if I go with that size. I know I'll have to get it bored and might as well get it decked. Will the bigger piston work with the STD length billet rod? And what gains can I expect? Also any other advice is appreciated

You wont notice it. Deck it for .000 deck and use a .025 to .030 gasket and that is what you will notice.

If I get the mikuni 22mm carb, flat top piston and billet flywheel will I be better off?

Yes. Mill that head .055 also.

Yes, have all of the internals installed so that the rise of the valves and the piston "pop" (if any) above the block can be measured/checked.
