I have no less than 3 beautiful running complete HM80 Tec's sitting in my garage. The problem is that all 3 have tapered crankshafts. Is there anyone that machines the taper and sleeves the crank to make it a straight PTO end?
Two of the engines came off of generators and one came off an old chipper. I'd like to use at least a couple of them on my Super Broncs. That adapter on Ebay looks like the ticket albeit expensive. Thanks for pointing it out.
Do generators typically have this taper? I know the pressure washers do. I've got my eye on the most beautifully preserved late 60's Tecumseh I've seen yet but it's on a generator. That sleave above seems to make it a moot point though.
