Homemade remedy

I was just floating around some lawn tractor forums and saw a discussion where a guy said he used a home
made mixture of slime to stop some dry rot tires from leaking around the bead of the rim and thru side wall cracks.
One guy said he uses canned milk (only.) Some say the use some type of cellulose mixed with antifreeze. Some use plain antifreeze. I've heard of guys on this site mention that.(it swells the rubber and seals the cracks).
Any truth to any of these.
I thought slime acted as a gooey substance that sealed up the cracks and filled in around the bead (almost like caulking).
Any one have a recipe that they swear by.

I would be using it on lawn tractor tires.

Don't know about small tires, but I used to coat the inside of my ET Street slicks with liquid dish soap before I mounted them..................Tom.
