Honda gx140

So I have a honda gx140 and the problem is when I try to rev it some times it will rev up but that is rare it usually just kills but it will idle. It idle up and down also. Could it be lack of compression?

Brand new chinese copy or a real Honda carb?

Go back and clean the original carb if the new one is :chinese:

My GX120 is running a Honda GX160 carb.....
