HS50 help!

I have two hs50s that I run on my twin engine go kart. I decided to take them both apart and clean them up and upgrade them some. The first engine came apart no problem, but on the second engine I cant get the side cover off. It comes out about a 1/4" and stops. When it moves the crank moves with it, so im assuming that somehow its being held on by the crank, but im not sure. Can somebody give me some help.

Sounds like one is a bearing sidecover and the other is not. The one that won't come off is because under the oil seal is a C Clip that sits in a grove to locate the crank. Remove the seal and remove the C clip and it will come off.
