And also what the heck is that metal flap thing in the bottom right corner. It barely moves freely and it could get in the way of the cam and crankshaft
The rod bolt? Head stripped or threads stripped? The head doesn't look too bad and would probably come out with a 6 point socket. If the threads are stripped, grab the head of the bolt with pliers, and while pulling down turn it out.
AGreed on the 6 point socket. If it is that bad, try the next size down metric size. Might give you enough bite. If not, get this from Harbor Freight. I have this and it pays for itself after 3 uses.
if you are putting a billet rod in you need to remove the low oil sensor and everything that goes with it :thumbsup: the dipper on the billet rod sits a little off set and can hit it
