I really love the look of that. Too bad welding is involved. I would imagine that lowering your fenders is great for the street. But I wonder if it's ideal for off-road. Seems like I get a lot of dirt/mud in my fenders, and without the clearance it might build up and cause drag on the tire, but I am not sure about that. But wow it looks SOO much better.

you could also get long bolts and some spacers and simply drop the fenders down. it ont look AS good as making a new bracket but its another option

You can set the Height of the fender up higher if your worried about the mud building up under the fender. They just do not look right the way the factory mounted the to the bikes.
I set mine fender about a 1-1-1/4 above the tallest knobbie on a new tire.
