Installing tubes

#1
Got some new astro wheels and trying to install tubes. But here's the problem, the tube seems like the inner part is to small for the rim. The tube size matches the tire size but I can't get it to stuff in the rim between the halves.

Any tricks?

Hmmm...odd. Only other suggestion would be glass cleaner for lube on the tube. It will dry, but allow a short time of slip. I dont know if the brand will make too much difference. Normally they are pretty standard in size. Maybe someone else will chime in with an idea.

On the Astros I bought with tubes from OldMiniBikes The tube seemed really tight. But I forced it all together and its fine.

I gave the bike back to the owner and he rides it all over. No complaints yet

I noticed this on the Astro I put on the front of my El Tigre too. Went together okay, but it really did seem way tighter than it should've been.

I put the tube in the tire, blow it up til it conforms to the tire and then let enough air back out til I can get the wheel halves together... I also use a little dishsoap on the beads of the tire...
