Just dusted off my old Arctic Cat Prowler!

#1

Hi everyone!
Just uncovered my old 1971 AC Prowler.

Needless to say, I'm pretty excited!

It had stopped running about 15 years ago, and I stashed it in the shed. Came across it today while doing a little Spring cleaning, and was reminded of all the wonderful childhood memories with this bike. Looking forward to getting it up and running again with the help of this online resource!

Awesome!... But I sense those rear shocks about to cry out in pain.

Nice that it looks mostly all there. You'll want to rotate the recoil a quarter turn and flip the plastic guide in the process. Let me know if you need the factory carb adjustment instructions. You'll probably want to clean that out if it's been a long time. You might also want to clean the points.

Thanks for the tips, and those carb adjustment instructions will probably come in handy shortly.
