Lighting coil

Can you remove a lighting coil from a baja worrior minibike motor an put it on a harbor freight 6.5 motor?

They flywheels have different tapers and will not seat correctly. Which predator do you have? Hemi or non?

I'm pretty sure it's a non hemi.

The hemis can run the Kohler lighter flywhee with no mods. The non Hemi would need machining to use a clone or Kohler.

Hemi has the cast aluminum valve cover. A magnet will not stick. Look for part number 60363 at your local harbor freight if you need a Hemi...

Is there any performance differences between the two?

Put coils on one of my predator hemi's but had to put a gx200 crank in it so that i could use a honda/clone flywheel with the two magnets in it. Then i had a 208cc engine cause the honda/clone crank has a 1mm shorter stroke than the predator crank. Still run good though.

I do not live in the USA so I have to ask does HF still have a 196cc clone on the shelf?

Someone probably has a 196 on the shelf that is a direct clone and easy to add the lighting package too.

h/f does not have anymore true clones in the us . but you can still find greyhound motors either never or lightly used

We have tractor supply up here.
They have clones from Champion and some blue thing I never looked at very closely ( they should change their name to expensive supply )...

all the tractor supplys around me used to have real hondas now it seems like the only motors they have are on pumps
