I have a lil Indian chopper 2 that I am putting together. I have a NOS 3.5 Tecumseh, 1969 that is period correct and when I set it on the frame I do not have room enough to slide it forward with the fuel tank in place, it hits the frame down tubes.
I hope that is understandable, now my questions?
1) Did this model use a Briggs with a rear tank so clearance wasn't an issue?
2) Did it use a Tecumseh, like all things point to that I have seen, with a fuel tank mounted to the frame?
Thanks in advance for any information, it is a really cool mini that I want to get done, but I also want to do it somewhat correct. If I need to find a tank I will do that, or if I need to find a Briggs for it I will do that also and use that sweet little Tecumseh NOS 3.5 on another of my projects.
Thanks for this site and the members that make it great !!
