low oil sensor

removed the low oil sensor and internal governor, however need to know what size bolt i need in order to plug the hole the low oil sensor came out of...

for shits and giggles i tried to start it up without bolting the hole and it didn't start... is this normal, will it start right up when i get the bolt to seal the hole? Thanks :shrug:

figured out what bolt i need, but just curious on why the engine wouldn't start without the hole plugged?

3/8" x 1 bolt and copper washer

Why didnt you just cut the wire and leave what was there in the hole? It should have started. Did you line up the dots on the cam?

cam is lined up everything is good except there's a hole where the wire used to come out, took it out because I'm gettin a bullet con rod

sealed the hole nice and tight and figured out the problem, the lifters almost fell into the crankcase and that causes a rod to come off the rocker, put it back on wa la started half a crank
