Take the flatslide any day over round slide.
The flatside performs much better, very easy to tune in and once set-up right we have never even had to change the jetting.
Roundslides are hopeless, endless hours of trying to tune them in. Even when they are set-up about right, the flatslide is still in a different league. Bit like the tilotsons.
We run TM24's on standard Bore/Stroke Engines, with 29/24mm valves & Tm28's on Bigger engines.
Both work fantastic. Took 20 Minutes to tune each carburetor.
Rememeber to have a return/ overfill pipe though, otherwise you'll over fill the bowl and it wont run right.
