Motor Blew Up!

Trinik, yeah, I noticed how brittle the casing was. Thx, That explains a lot as well. Went wit ha Champion 196cc motor because I like their rocker design. Since I'll run it bone stock, I've never known these to fail at stock. I'm going for gallons per hour now, I'll probably be running a displacement speed mostly. Infact I wnat to buil a long, narrow boat much like they do overseas. I want this to be my gas saver.

I really do think you're right as far as the genuine Honda block goes. Money is a little tight right now, and I need to get fishing quickly. That's why I Chose the Champion.

However if I were building a speed racer, I think I'd rather have a billet block just like the dragsters do it.

Man that sucks after all that work. My motor is still running great but I have it rev limited to 5200 rpms.

Yes, it does, Larry. That's why I'm done building motors. I'm running bone stock so I can get to fishing and shooting fishing product videos. For me it wasn't worth the time.
