my first build

I got on a search for a build I would like to do (lots of kits to choose from) but decided I wanted to build my own frame from scratch. This is my first attempt at a build. Not perfect but so far I like it.

Pretty awesome job. That is the same welder I used for the last 15 years, finally quit on me during my last project.

Thanks...Yes the Taco look is some of what I was shooting for. I started with a DB30 front end and wheels for my build. I chose the DB30 to be a donor for a few reasons. 1... there everywhere and cheap. 2... I wanted disck breaks. I have a DB30 I put the 6.5 pred on it. its my daily rider and love it. I call it 911
Oh yea my lil welder. This one is going on 17 years old. I have welded alot of projects with it over the years. just ordered parts fot it today to finish it up. all but the seat....cant decide. open to sugestions

Im just about finished. I have been test riding it lining out some bugs. Just about ready to tear it back down and get ready for some paint.
