Need some advice to hook up my rear brake.

I put a drum brake on the rear of my Manco mini, now i need some ideas on fitting the cable to the actuating arm on the the brake. This is what I have, I'm ready for ideas. The hole in the lever is 0.410 dia.

If you dont want to weld or drill. I would wrap a piece of flat bar around the frame and bolt it tight.With a 90 degree twist. Then tap a hole and put an adjuster through it. You can notch the flat bar where it meets the axle bracket so it doesnt twist. Or if you want to weld it just weld an adjuster mount.

I already drilled and tapped the rear flange of the motor mounting plate and fitted it with an adjuster for the cable. I need a method for fastening the cable to the brake actuating arm
