Newbie Question

I'm new to the world of mini bikes. I'm looking into building a AZUSA mini bike and was wondering if it's big enough for someone my size (6 feet 2 inches). I have pretty long legs and didn't know if I would need to modify the handlebars to fit me.

Personally I would say no. Several reasons:

-No leg room (knees hit handlebars)
-expensive kits if bought brand new
-May have to do some engine modification to make it fit

These are just some of my experiences :cowboy:

Go for it! I have one that my 6' 4" brother rides from time to time and he is plenty comfortable on it. Yes the kit new is a bit on the pricey side but they can be found used for cheap. On the older ones the handlebars are leaned back and continue the line of the forks so they kinda end up in your lap. The newer fork/handlebars tip forward and would be a better fit if you can find one like that. As far as mini bikes go the Azusa frame is fairly large so you'll be just fine

Would you be able to ride it- YES.
Would you be (at least reasonably) comfortable - NO
I test drove one of these recently (I am 6'1") and the handlebars will hit your knees unless you sit frog-legged, and turns are still awkward to make.
