I am trying to make a Tecumseh engine removed from a snowblower fit a minibike. My problem is that it has a diaphragm intake, and I need to mount a float type carburetor as the gas is gravity feed. I have included a couple of pictures of the intake, does anyone have a flat intake that would accept the float carburetor? Thanks

I was having trouble with the gas flow. The gravity feed was flooding through the carburetor. I removed the engine from a snowblower that was not gravity feed, but rather suction, it ran perfectly on the snowblower. I appreciate any help, Thanks
Why would a diaphragm carb not work? They work in any orientation, as long as there is fuel in the line. I would think that to be a plus

Check the needle for blockage. It sounds like it's not closing all the way. I had a similar issue with the diaphragm carb on my 70 Roadster. Once I cleaned the debris out of the needle, it worked fine

Yep, Rupp used a diaphragm carb.
Should work fine. I guess. Never seen a snowblower since I started this mess.
