OldMiniBikes clutch cover clearance with Tomar 2 disc clutch

hey I have a question I have an OldMiniBikes clutch cover and I'm
running a Tomar 2 disc clutch with levers, the clearance between the clutch and the clutch guard are minimaul will there be enough space for the Tomar 2 disc clutch to work?

anyone? it seems like it might work, just want to make sure... :/

Only one way to find out :doah: run it if it hits then it looks like you could make the mounting holes longer and problem solved :thumbsup:

waiting on a fuel pump to be able to run the motor, hopefully someone else would of had this set up done with some results ahhhh :doah:

Some washers behind the mounting bolts to the engine to space it out a bit?

The bolts come in contact with the chain tho

Grind the bolt heads down to 1/3rd the width. They are only holding the clutch guard so they don't need to be that thick. Then you can add washers to give you more room.

Button head allen bolts....

or rebend the guard....

bent the guard a little and there is significantly more space :thumbsup:
