Original Argyle folding scooter

We know it's an argyle. We want to know about the engine.
It has a 2 stroke, 2 cylinder power products engine.
The model number is 300 BH 69
The serial number is 10680 P372 SP

Fairly rare scooter, really rare engine. Probably made in the early 50s. There are pics of others on www.usscootermuseum.com. What do you want to know about the engine?

i looked in my old manual, it says model bh 69 is 1 3/4 bore by 1 7/16 stroke and 6.90 displacement. this book was copyrighted in 1964. hope that helps

That looks like a frame that may be easy to reproduce minus the engine, would be a cool project. But it would be really cool to own a original one, I presume the one on ebay had a high $$$ on it.

the one on ebay has a starting $ of $ 995, but look close,its a later modle
the owner says it was maid in the 60 s the org seat is not with it,
thes a few other items,but ther like people, NOT perfect,i have a cople,but
the i have on here to id the engine,from what i found out it shuld be a 1947
but i find that hard to beleve thanks for the time you put in to it,:thumbsup:
