Pacesetter 3 wheeler

My 10 year old son just bought this Pacesetter 3 wheeler today. It looks to be in real good condition for it's age. I let him do all of the dealing and he offered the lady $50 for it and she took it.

Fredbert : Well for $50.00 you sure got a good deal and I would find a way soon to put on a normal rewind on that engine. A cup starter just is not safe with any off road riding.
I do like the brush guards in front of the rear wheels they keep riders from hooking the rear wheels on heavy brush.
Looks like there is fun ahead for your Son and you too.

We have the recoil for the engine, it just needs a new rope. We got it fired up last night. I am soaking the carb right now.

When we were loading it on the trailer, the back wheels wouldn't turn. As we were checking things out, I took the clutch/belt cover off and a rubber baseball was inside. LOL
It rolls just fine now.

He bought this for parts to build a go kart, but I hate to cut it up.

I OWN 2 PACESETTER IIONES ALMOST COMPLETE MISSING GAS TANK, AND THE OTHER IS A FRAME AND WHEELES IN VERY PRISTINE CONDITION, ARE THEY WORTH FIXING UP, ARE THE PARTS WORTH ANY THING, I SEE EBAY HAS NONE? LET ME KNOW GUYS,,I WOULD THINK THE RARE-TIE IM THINKING THEY SHOULD BE WORTH MORE THAN A COUPLE BUCKS? DOES ANY ONE NEED PART:hammer:S? I
