Well I got her fired up yesterday but being the impatient person that I am!
I forgot to put the crankcase breather tube on and also using a old gasket.
I had fuel leak all over the tank and ruined the paint on the tank!
I don't have the right respirator mask to use my can of SprayMax and
it sill under 50 degrees here. So now i have to pull the motor out:doah:
and have a do over! Any suggestion's on a respirator for a rattle can painter
would be helpful!
So far it looks like the gas didn't ruin the paint on the frame/
Not bad for some cheap paint from Home Depot?
That stuff is super nasty. It's not like your ordinary Rust-oleum. You get some of those chemicals in your lungs and they don't go away and stay there to get you some years down the road. Spray it down wind on a nice calm sunny day and use a high tech respirator. I used an organic respirator. Do yourself a favor and don't' rely on a standard cloth dust respirator. It's not enough for SprayMax.

Put original tank minus paint back on until I can repaint the other one after I get some new gaskets.
Made seat base but I still need to find some material to cover it. I'm doing this build on the cheap just to
putt around on! Otherwise I would have Karen make Me one Lol?
