Pre war Sachs

Looked at this bike a few times now.Took a really ggood look at it again today with JR.It's a Sachs,supposed to be a 1938.
I got first dibs if I want it.Still waiting for the seller to put a number on it.

It does run and drive.
There's also a few other goodies where it's stored
4-speed all original Z-28 with less than 50,000 miles
and a few more vintage cars

What's not to like about that bike ? I love the girder front end and the primer button on top of the carb and the pill box air cleaner. The knee grip pad on the tank also.

Looks like the Erie Motorbike.....Sachs from Germany supplied this 98cc engine to many European and obviously also to American Mfg. to produce inexpensive but reliable transportation. This small engine powered small bikes from the mid '30 to the late '50s. Especially in Germany where many bicycle producers incorporated the motor into their bike frames. It was available with kick start and pedal start. Cool find
