Predator 212 low oil sensor & billet rod?

Getting ready to do this mod along with others. (Don't have all the parts yet). I read on another site that you have to remove the LOS when using a billet rod. Uhhh... why? Is there a clearance issue?

I don't see the harm in leaving it in there otherwise.... just disconnect the wire if need be.

Remove it.
Get a piece of steel and make a brace that fits where the sensor was. Flywheel side do the same underneath with a steel doughnut.

Just about any simple bolt on place you can add a brace will help keep block flex to a minimum on modified clones. But its not realy that big of a deal, its just something you can do with all the unused threaded bolt homs like the oil sensore mount.
