Yup.
A Honda coil is better.
The Clone ignition tends to retard more than a Honda as RPM increases ( I never tested this but its an old karting folk remedy for unstable retarded ignitions. I have had very good luck with the clone ignitions after the button is removed from the boot )

At what rpm do the Chinese coils start to retard?

They all retard its just dum electronics in there with no compensation.
You begin to notice this at around 5000 rpm and up.
It retards between 1 and 2 deg for each addition 1000 rpm there after.
