I took out the gov. the cam came out when I took of the side cover. I am sure that I lined up the dots on the cam. So I installed a throttle plate and put the motor back in.
Stars fine, runs fine on choke but dies when you turn of choke. Sounds like high speed lean out ? took out carb. cleaned every thing reinstalled problem still there.Starting to get hold in a hurry. If I missed the mark on the cam do you think that is the issue ? Like I said it runs fine. at higher revs it is not as smooth as it should be. I did not do anything else to the motor other than re-set the valve lash. Any of you guys have a guess as to what the h--l is going on ?
The motor is the 212cc model ( non hemi ) the bike is a Dune Cycle
