Predator swap done! Top speed seems low.

I just finished swapping a predator in with a Chinese torque converter and a 60t sprocket. I seem to only hit about 35mph. I weigh under 200lbs. I removed all components of the governor when I installed the new flywheel. Other than that engine is completely stock. I was thinking I would be in the mix 40's easy!: Any ideas?

Sounds about right...
I have only removed gov. And I have 15" rear wheel, TC with 12t and 53t axle sprocket. Mine does about 40-ishes

Yes my rear wheel is the taller 15" Snow hogs. So I need more gearing. How does the 53t effect take off? With the 60T its still pretty touchy. It gets up to 26mph right away but takes a bit to hit 35mph. I used a GPS speedo. A pipe, intake, jets would help it get there faster I suppose. I may up the gearing a bit. I just don't wanna kill the low end grunt completely.

Mine still does a wheelie. With header and exhaust you will keep some low end.

Well I swapped a straight pipe on from my 196cc clone and wow. I just hit 41mph! That seems about as fast as you should go!

just do clutch for speed, Im over 70mph with 12/60 and a clutch.

Error: top speed was 64mph if i remember my phones GPS correctly.

this is what i did it on, earned myself half a Titanium face and brain damage but sure was fun lol.
