predator throttle hook up idea will it work?

ok long story short, engine has no governor, billet rod, flywheel, etc, i will be using the stock throttle linkage with slight modifications but the real question is I don't have a conduit holder and was wondering if a substance like QUICKSTEEL/STEELSTIK would work to hold the end of the throttle cable to hold it in place so i can pull on the throttle and open the carb/throttle body ... Will this work? anyone have any experience with it? the throttle linkage is the last thing left on my build and is a pain to workout into a sleek design... thanks.

Panduit LAMA2-14-QY Single Barrel One-Hole Lug | Graybar Store .. This what i use on both holder and end..the tab will be cable holder and mount..use another to put on end of cable,cutting off tab.just go to hardware store and choose size..not copper..expensive..yeah i did electrical work ..:wink:
