Does anyone know of, or make a reducer sleeve? Want to use a 3/4 bore clutch on a 5/8 shaft engine. Thinking on building a motorized bicycle with a 3hp Tecumseh, and use a Downs brother manuel clutch.
What`s your input on that set up? Not going to do any high horse power mods. Like the ideal of pedaling with the engine off, than popping the clutch to start the engine. Like a moped.
There's a guy on ebay that makes them. I had him make me a 16mm ID 3/4" OD sleeve to use in a Downs Bros clutch. Contacted Downs about the idea first and they said I "should be fine, others have done the same thing"
Pretty sure Downs went under? Someone was selling the clutches for them but their website hasn't worked for months. From what I understand the customer service stopped as well.
