Suzuki trailbike help

I just picked up a 71 mt50 and can not find how to adjust the idle. I have googled etc and can not find any info. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Over the years there have been a good number of discussions threads on the Suzuki MT50s. Be patient, and you will likely get some members who have owned them be able to answer your specific question. In the interim, I would suggest that you perform a search using the Google Custom Search bar at the top of this page and type in Suzuki MT50. You will find MANY discussion threads with LOTS of good information which you may find useful to you.

Look on top of the carb.There will be a rubber cap on the cable,if you lift the cap,there should be a threaded nut the cable runs through.Turn it one way or the other.Also if the bike has been sitting and not used in some time,a carb cleaning might be in order.
