Briggs with flo-jets usually will not work with the torque convertor and jackshaft with the band brake on it . The gas tank is in the way . Make sure it has the mounting bolt pattern for the torque convertor too .
I have had good luck buying old snowblowers and taking the motor off of them .

Nice engine but it doesn't have a charging coil/alternator to power the lights.
