Tecumseh h35 throttle hook up

hello all!
My tecumseh h35 is finally running! I am now having trouble connecting the throttle to the carb. The governer arm is loose and when i tightenvir it doesnt allow the carb to move. Any help would be appreciated!

Should the nut not rub the engine block?

So, did ya get the bugs worked out ? All working good now ?

We're having issues with a cheap twist grip, but it seems like theres very little control of the throttle. its either 0 throttle or 100% and the distance between the two is non-existant

That is just something your going to have to play with. How strong is your return spring?

If it is to strong, you have to over power it at the grip, by then its flipping to full throttle.

The combination has to be just right.
